In my recent trip to Europe I visited Venice, Italy or what’s called Venezia in Italian. It is a city that stretches across 118 small islands. It is known as the “City of Water" or the "City of Bridges". It is a really cool place you don’t want to miss it.

They have an old tradition of wearing a mask in a special carnival so you will find masks for sale everywhere & what better than a Venetian mask as a souvenir.

Minarets May Lead To Burka !!!

Three days ago i was in Zurich, Switzerland just one day before the end of a strange campaign. The above poster was everywhere. i may understand the general situation but what i don't understand why do they attach minarets with covered woman?!!! Are the trying to say that if they allow muslims to build minarets all swiss women will end up wearing burka?!!!

Some people don't understand that in the same airline there are different type of business class & first class, an example is emirates airline rout to zurich. emirates has two daily flights to zurich

- EK 085 4:20 pm Airbus A330-200

in the above mentioned aircraft, there is a very huge difference between business & first class, almost the same in economy.

things that matter whenever a booking is made.
1- price
2- flight timing
3- aircraft type
4- number of stops
5- the airline itself

priorities between the five depends on us, but at least we should have or think of suitable priorities

UAE National Day

Even a week before 2nd of December flags are everywhere. It’s the UAE 38th national day & what makes it special this year is that it is attached with the eid vacation. Today is the last working day before this long vacation so I expect celebrations in all governmental & nongovernmental departments.

“Yes, we can” & “change” were Obama’s campaign theme for the 2008 presidential elections. After the inauguration of barack obama as the 44th president will it stay possible to believe that “yes, we still can” & “change” may come? I still remember obama’s victory speech when he said clearly & loudly “change has come to america”

Other than his charisma economy, Iraq, Afghanistan & healthcare were why obama was elected. Nearly a year after being in power obama’s efforts were seen almost in every major issues & change has been made on how US foreign policy take place at least this what the noble prize committee think. The first steps were taken, we may disagree if it is enough or not but we for sure agree that steps were taken.

Regardless of what dr. Lamees said & will say. She is well educated rich Emirati with no idea how do middle class in UAE think & live. She represents herself, her husband & the liberal’s minority in UAE.

Else than the electricity & water bills, she did mention “head scarf” & she believe that it is only traditions. At the end it is what she believes in.

Well, I believe in this “while burka & abayya are customs related, head scarves are 100% from islam teachings” note that dr.lamees was not wearing any of the three. So no traditions & no to islam, that what I saw on Oprah

Buddha

Buddha was my nickname back days in collage. Sine then whenever I go to Asia or a friend do a Buddha must be bought for me. At that time it was not funny to me but I laugh about it now. This nickname was chosen to me because of me being so lazy & so fat. I am still lazy but lost weight, a lot of weight.

Desert Fox

Field Marshal Erwin Romme also known as the Desert Fox. He was one of Hitler’s high ranking officers & the commander of the Ghost division during the invasion of France. After that he was promoted and appointed commander of the 5th Light Division & then a Field Marshal the commander of the Nazi’s Armey in North of Africa where he got his desert fox nickname.

Just to have an idea, field marshal is the highest rank in the armies, one step above a general & one promotion to marshal. Navies highest rank is "admiral of the Fleet", Air forces highest rank is "marshal of the Air Force"& armies highest is "field marshal"


Last night I watched the first episode of a documentary called “Hitler's warriors documentary ep01field marshal Erwin Rommel”. It was so great I recommend everyone to check it out.

Sometime I want to kill those designers who think that they are artistes. The only link they have to art is the high prices they charge. In fact they are disasters creators or what I would like to call taste terrorist. They are responsible for the outrageous radical taste appearing in the UAE.

And to those who depend on terrorist, just ask yourself “am i looking good” no you look like hell. You have a cheap look even if you spend one million dollars, you still look cheap. Simply because of the no taste situation

Whenever the feelings of hate & admiration comes together, there is only one keyword, its “Kissinger”. Dr. Henry Kissinger a jewish German born, former American National Security Advisor & former State Secretary. He was a major foreign policy player 1969-1977 & after that he repeatedly gave advice for all republican administrations

His dirty involvements are clearly seen in the Vietnam’s war, October 73 war, Bangladesh independence and many other conflicts.

There is a book I recommend published in 2001 called “The Trial Of Henry Kissinger” Discuses Kissinger relation to some war crimes.

Carrera Tag Heuer

I was at Tag Heuer store in burjman last night taking my father’s watch to service when I noticed an extraordinary watch. It is a Carrera Tag Heuer, Caliber 16 automatic chronograph movement.

Black dial with 3 counters (hours at 6 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, minutes at 12 o’clock). Date at 3 o’clock. Circled counters at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock. Price as they gave me 15% discount is 10260 AED.

I am still thinking of this watch so I started googleing it to find out more about it. Definitely worth the price

I like to read news early morning but late evenings I like to watch them. Of course weekends are an exception. It is an exception because I read hardcopies of my favorites newspapers. News, could be politics, economies related or even entertainments related news. In a typical morning local newspapers is something essential to start with & since April 08 The National is my favorite local newspaper.
